BREAKING – Test Track is OUT!

Don’t be alarmed! It’s not closing indefinitely.

Test Track, the popular attraction at EPCOT in Walt Disney World, is set to close its doors on June 17, 2024 for an exciting retheme.

During D23’s 2023 event, Disney announced that the ride will undergo a reimagining, with a temporary closure beginning in mid-June of the following year. While details about the new theme are still under wraps, Disney has released some interesting concept art that hints at a fresh and innovative experience for guests.

At Destination D23 2023, it was announced that Test Track will be reimagined at EPCOT in Walt Disney World Resort.

Test Track, which first opened in 1999, has been a staple of EPCOT’s Future World, allowing guests to design their own virtual vehicles and test them out on a high-speed track. The current version of the ride, sponsored by Chevrolet, has been in operation since 2012.

As we bid farewell to the current iteration of Test Track, we can’t help but feel a sense of excitement for what’s to come. Disney’s Imagineers are known for their creativity and innovation, and we have no doubt that the reimagined attraction will be a hit with guests of all ages.

Stay tuned for more updates on the Test Track retheme as they become available. In the meantime, be sure to experience the current version of the ride before it closes on June 17, 2024!
