A Brief History of Country Bear Jamboree

The original Country Bear Jamboree opened on October 1, 1971, at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. The show was created by Walt Disney Imagineering and featured a cast of audio-animatronic bears performing country music. Over the years, the show has undergone several changes, including the addition of new songs and characters.

What’s New in Country Bear Musical Jamboree?

The new show is an homage to the classic musical revues in Nashville, and Walt Disney Imagineering has worked with musicians to get the authentic country sound. The experience still has the fun and friendly tone that fans of the original show have come to love.

Country Bear Musical Jamboree features a mix of classic and modern country styles, from bluegrass to outlaw country, making sure there’s something for every country music fan.

Behind the Scenes: Creating the New Show

Imagineers worked tirelessly to bring the new show to life, from reprogramming the audio-animatronic bears to creating new costumes and set designs.

The team also worked with country music experts to guarantee that the show’s soundtrack was authentic and engaging. The result is a mix of Disney magic and country charm that is sure to make the entire audience smile.
