Over at Epcot, we have one of the most underrated rides, Living with the Land. It’s an educational boat ride that takes you through the history of agriculture and into the future of farming.

As one of the oldest rides in the parks going through several changes and updates, you can’t have an article about boat rides without featuring Pirates of the Caribbean!
This is such a quintessential Disney ride that starts in a regular cave, dips into the waters of Johnny Depp’s crew, and rises back to the regular world. Out of every boat ride, this has to take the cake for the ultimate one.

4. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
We don’t know much about this ride yet, but if it’s anything like Splash Mountain, we know this will be an instant hit!
Splash Moutain was all about taking guests through a magical forest of mischievous animals. The thrilling part? The final drop.
We hope the updated ride keeps the same thrills that made the original a must-ride on each one of our Disney vacations.
5. Kali River Rapids
Over at Animal Kingdom, we have Kali River Rapids, a white-water rafting adventure through the forests of Asia. This attraction, located in the Asia section of the park, simulates a turbulent river journey with plenty of twists, turns, and drops.
The highlight of the ride is the 20-foot plunge into the churning waters below.
Fair warning, you will get wet. But that’s all part of the fun, right?
6. Frozen Ever After
For a more recent addition to the boat ride lineup, head over to Epcot’s Norway pavilion for Frozen Ever After. This attraction, which replaced the classic Maelstrom ride in 2016, takes you through the kingdom of Arendelle as you relive the story of “Frozen.”
Along the way, you’ll encounter your favorite characters, including Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and Kristoff, as they sing the iconic songs from the film. The animatronics are incredibly lifelike, and the special effects will make you feel like you’re truly in a winter wonderland.

As you sail along the river, you’ll be treated to an excellent perspective of the park and maybe even catch a glimpse of some wildlife. It’s a great way to rest your feet and enjoy some peaceful scenery.
9. Na’vi River Journey
Last but not least, we have the Na’vi River Journey at Animal Kingdom’s Pandora – The World of Avatar.
This boat ride takes you through a bioluminescent rainforest, complete with glowing plants and exotic creatures. The highlight of the ride is the encounter with the Shaman of Songs, a Na’vi animatronic that is one of the most advanced in the park.
